To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and promote inclusive employment, Sigurd partnered with the Workforce Development Agency’s Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch to host the “Full Moon, Full Heart” marketing event at its Beixing plant on October 2. The initiative aimed to increase visibility and sales of specialty products from sheltered workshops, encouraging businesses and the public to support job opportunities for people with disabilities.
As part of this campaign, sheltered workshops were invited to set up booths at seven corporate sites, including Sigurd’s Hukou, Zhongxing, and Beixing plants, as well as facilities of Wistron, Solas OLED, and Zyxel. This collaboration not only demonstrates corporate social responsibility (CSR) but also strengthens brand image while fostering a more inclusive society.
During the event, Branch Director Lai Chia-Jen presented a certificate of appreciation to Sigurd for its strong support—providing venue space and purchasing products in bulk. Sigurd has long championed CSR and ESG principles, currently employing 24 individuals with disabilities and actively promoting diversity and inclusion. Lin Wen, Deputy Associate Manager of HR Administration, emphasized that supporting sheltered workshops and creating accessible job opportunities are key pillars of Sigurd’s ESG strategy.
The Ministry of Labor also launched a Pilot Program for Enhancing Employment Competency of Sheltered Workers in June 2025. Companies offering internships or jobs to individuals with disabilities can receive administrative and training subsidies during the internship period and up to NT$540,000 in employment incentives upon formal hiring, along with workplace adaptation support.
